I’ve seen this space be multiple things and this is my favorite iteration. It’s bright and clean, with a good amount of seating. The menu is limited on purpose - just toasts and empanadas with a few sweets - but they seem to do it well. The prices are reasonable. I had the Avocado Toast on gluten free bread. I know the bread comes from SunOven Gluten Free Baking Company, which I love. It’s a buckwheat bread so it’s more nutritious than a lot of GF breads. The slices are smaller than regular bread so they gave me three, topped with a delicious avocado mash, cherry tomatoes, balsamic drizzle, arugula and feta. Normally I don’t eat dairy but I was hungry after fasting for bloodwork next door so I went for it. It was delicious! I ate two slices and took the third home for my husband, who was surprised by how good it was. The cookies and empanadas looked great but I can’t eat them. They did have SunOven gluten free, vegan doughnuts which I LOVE. They’re the same owners as Palm & Boy downtown, so I know their drinks are good but I didn’t have any on this visit. I hope they do well in this space. It seems to be a tough place to keep a business alive. I will definitely be back!

Under new management since the last time we went. Still love the location. Good for all you college students and Medical Professionals. It has a real "big business" feel without the Big business. The breakfast options were top notch, we have yet to attend any of the afternoon (Moon) time slots.

I had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! It was my first time and I tried their iced matcha latte and it was absolutely perfect just the right balance of matcha flavor. The barista recommended a hint of vanilla and now I will never drink my matcha without it. I also got their chicken empanada that was gone before I could take a pic SO GOOD! The baristas were so sweet and patient even with a line out the door. They made sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Daylight and Moon has been our go-to coffee spot since moving to the area. Jamie and the other staff are always so kind and friendly. The mochas are excellent and consistent every time we come. The toasts and empanadas are also good - I always go for the classic Avocado Toast - love the balsamic glaze on it.

Everything from the beautiful scenery to the SCRUMPTIOUS Cookie Butter toast and the Brunch toast made me and my mom so happy we went to Daylight and Moon Cafe. I think about and crave the toast again every couple days I am so obsessed. Also love the Lavender Haze iced coffee that I got and it is one of the best lavender coffees I have had in Ventura. The owner and the other employees are also so nice and lovely to talk to. I can’t wait to come here again soon.

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Ventura! My go-to order is the cookie butter latte or an iced matcha, and either is perfect every time. They have plentyyy of food options which is rare for a coffee shop! The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, I couldn’t say more positive things about daylight and moon!

AWESOME addition to the ‘hood!!! Jamie and her team know what they are doing. Super sweet young ladies waited on us. Talkative and friendly. My hubby and I enjoyed a chai tea latte and a cold brew - both with oat milk. For our breakfast we enjoyed avocado toast. Super yummy with the feta and chili flakes. Outdoor and indoor seating. NICE!!!
